The last two weeks have been pretty tough for us here in the top of the south. Both for our communities, and for the ski field.
This week, we have had some successes. Snow on Thursday night left some big wind drifts on the top cat tracks. These were used to rebuild the upper mountain from Tower 4 – Tower 12.
Last night the temps finally fell far enough for us to make snow. A great night of production has turned the base area white once again. The forecast is looking good for more snow-making tonight and tomorrow.
Once we have enough snow to open we will! A bit of weather towards the end of the week could help speed this up too!
