**2026 Operating Days**

Rainbow’s standard operating days during the season are Saturdays and Sundays.

Additional midweek operating days may be offered at the Club’s discretion, depending on staffing availability, weather, snow conditions, and other operational factors. Read more about our new operating model.

SEASON PASS + Club Membership

A Season Pass lets you ski any day that we are open and includes full club membership, giving you access to member benefits. (This is the best option if you intend to do 3 or more days skiing)

We have a range of different day passes at rates that are some of the lowest in New Zealand. Use your Credit Card, Paywave, or cash on-mountain ticket windows.

2025 shuttle TRANSPORTATION (8KM ACCESS ROAD AND RETURN)

New for 2025, Rainbow Ski Area offers a daily on-demand, first come, first served shuttle service, operated by our partners, Mead Transportation. 

  • Uphill shuttle services depart through the morning. Arrive at the carpark at the bottom of the access road and grab the next available seat.
  • Downhill shuttle services depart from the ski area base area through the afternoon.
  • Single ride and return trip tickets can be purchased from the driver at the time of travel.
  • Bookings are no longer required.
