Snowsports

Whether you are new to the slopes, or have been skiing or riding for a while, our international team of qualified instructors can take you to the next level. We have a variety of lessons available 7 days a week.

group lessons 2023

Group lessons are available for all levels. When you sign up for a group lesson you will be assessed and assigned to a group with other skiers/riders of similar ability to you.

Group lessons are 1.5 hours long and available at 10am, 12.15pm and 2.15pm. 

private lessons 2023

Our tailor made lessons are guaranteed to improve your technique and help you step up to the next level.

Private Lessons are available between 9am and 3pm

Please note: During week days (Mon-Fri) our instructors may be busy teaching school groups, it’s advisable to book private lessons in advance.

how to book

You can pre book private lessons only by emailing to customerservice@skirainbow.co.nz Please note your lesson is only booked once you have received an email from our Snow Sports Team confirming your scheduled lesson time. Bookings must be made 48hrs in advance. Group and private lessons can be purchased on the day from the ticket office on mountain. 

what to bring

Once you have booked your lesson you will need to turn up with your ski or snowboard gear on and ready to go.

 

  • Skiers – You will need properly fitting ski boots, skis, poles, warm clothes, sunglasses or goggles, and sunblock. We highly recommend that skiers wear a snow sports helmet.
  • Snowboarders – You will need properly fitting snowboard boots, snowboard, warm clothes, sunglasses or goggles, and sunblock. We highly recommend that snowboarders wear a snow sports helmet.
