2022 An Epic Season

What a start to the season. If you haven’t been up, it would be hard to appreciate just how much snow we have and what an amazing job Tom and the team have done to get the field ready and open two weeks early.

Thanks to all those that have helped out, waited patiently in a queue, or for the road to open, and passed on your thanks to the team.

Remember to check out the snow reports on our website.(skirainbow) Make sure you follow the car chain’s rules to keep you, the rest of the Rainbow family safe and the road clear.

Ski Racing at Rainbow

This weekend is our first race of the season, the Batty Cup. The St Arnaud Racing Foundation have successfully run ski racing at Rainbow and supported local racers for the last 30 years.  With changes within their club and members moving on, they are now looking for people to help volunteer to help at the race days and continue their good work. Someone is needed to set the courses for the races which is a technical role and training will be provided.

If you are interested in helping or would like to learn more about course setting, then please email Maureen Clinton-Baker here

On behalf of the Rainbow board pictured here (Missing Ian and Tom) we would like to thank the organising committee, all the companies that donated goods,  Nic and Manu at The Playhouse Theatre, the fantastic crowd and club members who came along and participated so generously. We raised over $20K towards a new (for Rainbow) groomer. Looking forward to next year’s ball all ready
