Masters Racing 2022

Sunday 20th August

“It is with great disappointment that the St Arnaud Ski Racing Foundation has decided to cancel the 2022 Rainbow Atomic Masters this coming weekend. With the current weather the snow pack will be very wet. There is no postponement for this event, in 2022.

It was going to be the 31st occasion of Masters racing at Rainbow and of Atomic (now Ian Bright) sponsoring this race with the best prize, Skis.

There are many local families who have supported and entered this event over those 30 years.  The Seifried Family, Allan Scott, The Martella’s, The Stratfords, to name just a few. So many others also giving time, energy and prizes.  Many volunteers have given their time to make ski racing happen at Rainbow. All getting older now, with a few like Philippa Askew still racing. The ski racing events create a buzz and an excitement that SASRF love to make happen. There is nothing like being given a license to go FAST!”
